Margate Festive Market

Whether you’re a young entrepreneur, artist, maker, performer or simply have an idea you’d love to try out, we want to hear from you.

This will be our eighth Teenage Market since launching in 2024, and we’re excited to welcome both new participants and young people who have taken part before.

There will be space for 40 young entrepreneurs to run their own stalls, giving you the chance to sell products, showcase your creative work, promote something you’ve made or test out a new business idea. You don’t need to have it all figured out, the Teenage Market is a great place to give something a go and see where it takes you.

We will also have 10 performance slots for young musicians, singers, dancers, spoken-word artists and other performers. Whether you’re performing for the first time or already have experience on stage, this is a friendly and supportive opportunity to share what you can do with an audience.

Our markets have become a wonderfully supportive space for young people to try something new, meet other young creatives, build confidence and gain valuable experience in front of a friendly audience. One of the best things is seeing returning participants alongside those experiencing the Teenage Market for the very first time.

Got an idea? Make something? Create something? Perform? Come and be part of it!
