Christmas Teenage Market

The Christmas Teenage Market will be held on one of the busiest shopping days building up to the festive holidays. Broxburn & Uphall will open its markets to young entrepreneurs on Saturday 5th December 2015, Uphall Community Centre from 1:00pm -4:00pm

The Teenage Market is a free platform for young people to be entrepreneurial, try out a new business idea and sell creative products at their local market. It also inspires young people who have never considered the idea of trading on a market, the chance to have a go.

As well as a creative retail offer, a Teenage Market also includes a performance element, giving a platform for local performers and large community groups to showcase their unique skills and talents.

If you are aged 13 – 21 (inclusive) you can register to take part either as a trader or performer. It’s free to participate, we will take care of the insurance and provide a stand, we just need you to provide lots of enthusiasm and great products, performances or services to help make this a great event.

So if you make things and would like the opportunity to sell them, then register now to become a trader. We want to hear from design students, artists, photographers, sculptors, jewellery design, card makers, soap crafters, bakers – in fact if you’ve made it and want to sell it why not give it a go.

If you want to raise your profile or practice performing in front of crowds then register now to become a performer whether it’s as a dancer, singer or circus act. Maybe you are a in a local dance group or are in band and want to show what you can do, well we have the ideal platform, we just need to hear from you.

All places are limited so get in touch quickly to secure yours
