I hand-make felt from merino wool then turn it into unique jewellery. I mainly use wet feling but add detail with needle felt.
I learnt how to felt about four or five years ago in a club at school and I started selling the items I made around three years ago. I am always experimenting with felt, trying to create new things. I hope to have a website and expand my mini business after I leave college.
The items I make include bracelets, earrings, rings, hairclips, hairbands, keyrings, brooches and decorations. My felt pieces start at just £1.50 so make easily affordable gifts.
Now to expand my business I now make charm jewellery and accessories many of these bracelets, earrings and bag charms include gem/precious stones, pearls and a range of charms which form unique designs.
