Teatime Treats has developed as a result of using my baking skills to raise money for a trip to Cambodia this summer, where I will undertake a month’s voluntary work. The Salisbury Teenage Market has enabled me to not only sell my cakes, but to study the current consumer demands and analyse market trends and develop my range of products accordingly. I started with a selection of cupcakes and traybakes, but I have now expanded my range to include mini loaf cakes and gluten free millionaire shortbread. Having studied Geography and Food Technology I have a passion for using fair-trade, organic and local ingredients in my home-made cakes where possible. I am hoping to develop and expand my business in the future alongside studying for a degree in Hospitality Management at university.
Joanna Weaver does not currently have any upcoming Teenage Market events.
