Leeds Teenage Market

Hammerson, the owners of Victoria Leeds (Victoria Quarter and Victoria Gate) and Leeds Kirkgate Market are pleased to announce The Teenage Market will return to the events space on Saturday 16th June between 10.00am to 4.00pm.

As part of the National Market Traders Federation’s (NMTF) National Youth Market competition, on the 16th June we will be selecting up to four Teenage Market attendees to trade at Kirkgate Market on Yorkshire Day, 1st August.

The event on 1st August will include young traders from across the region, not just those from The Teenage Market. Four traders will then be offered the opportunity to attend the Grand Final National Youth Market event in Stratford-upon-Avon during the August bank holiday weekend. Prizes for the Young Trader of the Year include £500 cash, one year’s free NMTF membership and a glitzy trophy. Further competition details will be provided to all Teenage Market traders prior to the 16th June. Please note: you need to be aged 13 to 30 to participate in the NMTF competition.

We welcome Teenage Market applications from groups such as schools, colleges and universities. Stalls are free and will be allocated on a ‘first come first served’ basis with preference given to those living within Leeds.
