Margate Teenage Market

Have you ever dreamed of turning your hobbies into cash? Maybe you’re already selling your creations and want to turn it into a business? If this sounds like you, the Margate Teenage Market could be just what you need.

The Margate Teenage Market is coming to The Centre in Margate for the very first time on Saturday 6 July 2024.

We’re looking for young entrepreneurs from across Thanet, aged 8 to 25, to apply for a free stall at the market. Here’s the deal: there are limited spaces available, so we’ll be choosing the stallholders to make sure there’s a good mix of stuff for sale. We’re open to applications to sell all kinds of different things, but not food, drink, tobacco, alcohol, vapes or adult products.

There’ll also be a performance space on the big day, and we’re looking for talented young performers to bring the vibes with music, dance, comedy, poetry and more. You could be a solo act or part of a group, we’re open to applications from everyone.

One other thing: if you’re under 16, you’ll need a responsible adult to come with you and stay for the market.

The deadline for applying for a stall or to perform is 2 July 2024.
