Teenage Market and Gravity Family Day

A summer celebration of science, arts and circus - a spectacular curtain raiser for September's Gravity Fields Festival (26-30 September).

St Peter's Hill (in front of the Guildhall Arts Centre) will be transformed with a marquee, a teenage market, performers demonstrating aerial circus , circus skills workshops and even a science planetarium in the Guildhall Arts Centre.
Italian circus artist Stefano di Renzo will join performers from contemporary circus Mimbre and there will be hands on science experiments with the Science Boffins.
Other activities will be face painting, arts and crafts, a community dance project, play bus and inflatable helter skelter, so there will be loads to entertain the whole family.

Most events will be free.

SKDC will provide all stalls and covers free of charge for all traders and we will also cover most public liability insurances. If you are a trader or performer that uses knives, fire or juggling or supplying food, you will need to provide your own insurance .
