Beggars Fair, youth festival

Romsey, Hampshire holds an annual music festival which is held at various venues across the Town, several roads are closed to enable two temporary stages to be built. As part of the festival The Romsey War Memorial Park is allocated for a youth festival, the park is designated an alcohol free zone and has its own stage managed by the “Youth in Romsey” Team. This is an open air event and traders will need to provide their own shelters although some tables will be available. In previous years the “Beggars Fair” has attracted crowds in excess of 5,000 and is very much supported by families from Romsey and surrounding districts with some of the audience coming from across the South of England and beyond
