Information

Buckingham Town Youth Council is offering budding entrepreneurs or performers a free space on a Saturday in the main market, to either sell or entertain shoppers, this is a fantastic opportunity not to be missed!

Buckingham is a vibrant historic market town that was given a Charter by Queen Mary in 1554 and Charles II in 1664. The market days are every Tuesday and Saturday between 8am and 5pm, the main market is on Market Hill, Buckingham, MK18 1JX and on Saturdays an added flea market is held in the cattle pens.

The Street Market is set against the delightful backdrop of the Buckingham Old Gaol (pronounced Jail), which houses the Museum and Tourist Information Centre. The market boasts a variety of stalls on both days selling a variety of goods.

If you want to have a free market stall or space to entertain, sign up on this website either as a “Trader” or “Performer” where you will get a free ‘profile’ page. You can post photos of the things you are making/selling or information on where you have performed or your style of music/singing, the world is your oyster 🙂
