Kirklees covers Huddersfield, Batley, Birstall, Cleckheaton, Denby Dale, Dewsbury, Heckmondwike, Holmfirth, Kirkburton, Marsden, Meltham, Mirfield and Slaithwaite.

Huddersfield is the largest town in Kirklees and is where we will be holding most of our Alternative Market events. It is situated between bustling Manchester and Leeds (about 30 minutes on the train each way). It is also just off M62 giving it great transport links.

The main Alternative Market events will take place in St Peters Gardens in a trendy part of the town. Other existing markets will have sections that are branded as The Alternative Market such as Dewsbury Open Market (the biggest market in Yorkshire) and Upmarket Sundays, giving young people plenty of opportunity to trade and perform.
