Sleaford is an historic market town in the North Kesteven district of Lincolnshire. Boasting many beautiful buildings, surrounded by stunning countryside, Sleaford is an idyllic rural location. The town centre supports numerous surrounding villages, and with no larger towns within a 15 mile drive, it’s catchment is significant.
Sleaford’s most notable attribute is the presence of 3 exceptional secondary schools – Kesteven and Sleaford High School Selective Academy (KSHSSA – AKA the girls’ grammar school), Carre’s Grammar School (AKA the boy’s grammar school) and St George’s Academy. Together these schools deliver secondary education to almost 4000 students from the age of 11 – 18. Given this enormous wealth of young talent in the heart of the town, the decision to deliver The Teenage Market for their benefit was a no-brainer!
Thanks to donations from all 3 schools, from local businesses Sleafordian Coaches and Ray Butler Ltd, and from a number of residents, Sleaford Town Team was able to invest in the licence to run Teenage Markets in the town for 2 years from March 2015.
There are currently no upcoming Teenage Market events in Sleaford.
